NSRF grant programmes

The new NSRF encourages actions and projects that move towards climate protection. Great importance is attached to the ecological dimension of the design of each investment, to the integration of environmental infrastructure and to the modification of the energy production and consumption model. Priorities include strengthening the environmental sector.

Investments from the ERDF and the Cohesion Fund

Investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund will cover the following areas:

  • Increasing the use of renewable energy sources
  • Reduction of energy use
  • Promoting smart energy systems

The programme "Aid for existing enterprises up to 50 % grant through the NSRF" through which enterprises can be supported in order to upgrade themselves by increasing investments for their technological and energy modernisation.

Eligible expenditure

  • Buildings, installations and surroundings, up to 40% of the budget
  • Machinery - Equipment up to 90% of the budget
    (Including photovoltaic equipment)
  • Intangible Costs, up to 100% and in any case up to 100.000€
  • Employee wage costs 40% and up to 24.000 €.

The main objective of the action of the programme Support for existing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in tourism

In formulating the company's proposed subsidised budget, it is mandatory to link the requested expenditure to the following categories of eligible expenditure:

  • Buildings, facilities and surroundings
  • Machinery - Equipment
  • Equipment and Facilities for Environmental Protection and Energy and Water Conservation
  • Certification of quality assurance and environmental management systems.
  • View - Promotion
  • Software and Software Services.
  • Means of transport.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the Investment Plan
  • Studies / market research.
  • Wage costs of employees.

The "Young Entrepreneurship" Programme of the New NSRF 2014-2020 applies to all regions of the country. The support incentive provided by the New NSRF 2014-2020 "Young Entrepreneurship" programme will be a 100% subsidy of the total investment budget of the business, for a period of up to 24 months from the start of operations.

More specifically, the professional activities that will be funded by the Programme will refer to the following Priority Areas:

  • Agri-food.
  • Energy.
  • Cultural and Creative Industries.
  • Supply Chain.
  • Environment.
  • Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
  • Health-Medicines.
  • Materials-Constructions.
